Our Leadership Team

Sean Walsh

Chief Executive Officer

Sean brings over 30 years of experience in behavioural health, combining professional expertise with lived experience in long-term recovery. A licensed addiction therapist, he has spent the past 15+ years in executive leadership, most recently as CEO of Meadows Behavioral Healthcare in the United States, where he oversaw significant growth and innovation.

Sean is a proven leader with a clear vision for the future of mental health, addiction, and trauma treatment. He brings a strong commitment to advancing high-quality, trauma-informed care across our network of centres

Tom Rapson

Chief Operating Officer

Tom Rapson is Chief Operating Officer at Sana Health Group, where he oversees operations across the group’s mental health facilities, with a focus on sustainable growth and maintaining a high standard of care for the people Sana serves.

Before joining Sana, Tom spent six years as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, advising organisations across Australia and internationally on strategy, operational improvement, and major business decisions. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Sydney.

Ruth Limkin

Founder and Group Executive – External Relations

As the founder of The Banyans, a Sana Health Group treatment centre, Ruth has hands-on experience starting and growing private treatment centres. In her role with Sana, Ruth is actively involved with The Banyans and other services, helping provide excellence in healthcare. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she is an Adjunct Professor at Torrens University Australia, serves on the Workforce Reference Group at the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction at Flinders University, and is an advisory board member at RehabPath, a US based company.

Julie Grufstedt

Chief Marketing Officer

Julie is a senior marketing leader with a strong track record in brand strategy, integrated marketing, and creative leadership. She has spent her career building brands that connect with people, working across some of Australia’s most recognised consumer businesses before moving into healthcare.

At Sana Health Group, Julie leads marketing across the group’s facilities, bringing a sharp commercial lens and a genuine belief in the power of brand to connect people with the care they need.

Jacob Senior

Head of Intake and Client Engagement

Jacob leads the teams who help clients navigate the best options for them. With experience in leadership, relationship building, and business development, Jacob is passionate about ensuring clients are responded to quickly and with care. Jacob works with individuals and organisations to help them access the care they want, when they want it.

Andrew Kim

Head of Finance

Andrew brings extensive experience in financial strategy, governance, and performance management gained across ASX-listed environments. As Head of Finance at Sana Health Group, he leads the Group’s financial operations, reporting, and capital management, supporting strategy execution and long-term sustainability of the business.
